The journey through the alpine meadows and a number of gushing streams cannot get any better.
The camping at the base of the Shivling Peak (6,453 meters) is hugely enticing and the journey also provides you some really captivating views of the Gaumukh Glacier, the source of the Ganga River. The whole trail of the Kalindikhal Trek takes you through mesmerizing spots. While Nandavan, the base of the Bhagirathi Peaks offers exhilarating views of the Shivlinga Peak, the journey from Garhwal to the Bhagirathi Valley is equally commanding. Alakananda Valley and Vasuki Tal are among the few other notable stops in the journey.
The 14 days trail takes you through the most challenging part of the journey, crossing the Kalindikhal Pass or traversing through the Sweta Glacier. The exciting trail begins at Rishikesh and ends at Badrinath.
