Day 1: Leh-Likir-Yangthang.

The journey to Likir is around 45 kilometers from Leh towards Srinagar. It starts with a drive on a rough motorable road. After arriving at the Likir, and before starting the trek, one can visit the monastery which is upstream of the village. Monasteries are ancient and well-renowned in the city of Leh. It is a wonderful experience magnificence and grandeur of the serene sacred monasteries. Now, after visiting the renowned monasteries, it’s time to begin the trek. And as you precede your trek, you come across Yangthang and Sumdo villages which cross some small passes called Phobe La that is 3,550 meters and Charatse La which is 3,650 meters. And so, the route from Leh to Yangthang consumes 4-5 hours to memorize the beauty of nature. And the day ends with the beautiful scenic beauty and the overnight stay is in the camp. At the camp site, there are log huts, Swiss tents and bedded dormitory with attached bath facility.

Day 2: Yangthang-Rizong-Hemis Shukpachan.

Next morning post the breakfast, we depart towards the Rizong monastery. It is also called the Yuma Changchub Ling in Ladakh. This worth-seeing monastery is isolated at the back of a natural ground. It has three main rooms to visit, two with large Buddha’s and third with a large stupa. The monastery is also famous for its another name “the paradise for meditation”. And it is noted for its intensely strict rules and standards as per Buddhist tenets. After lunch, we headed to Hemis Shukpachan village and it also involves crossing a simple pass behind the monastery. And it’s a 5-6 hours tour to feel the pleasure of Hemis-Shukpachan. At the end of the day, stay overnight in camp

Day 03: Hemis Shukpachan to Temisgam.

The day 3 would be little longer and hectic than other trekking days. It would involve you in the crossing of Maptek-La which is 3,750 meters. Maptek-la is very famous for its epic sightseeing and surrounds various wonderful valleys and mountains. Very soon after passing you cross the sight of Ang village. And the road from Ang village heads down to the very famous Temisgam village. Each and every day on the roads of Temisgam is an adventure and thrill even on short drives. Temisgam village is well known for its apricots and the Dha Hanu area. It has ruins of a historic fort and a very small monastery enriching the highly sacred marble statue of Avalokitesvara. The journey is 3-4 hours. After the heavy day, the camp is welcomed overnight

Day 04: Temisgam-Khaltse

At the beginning of day 4, we walk down to Khaltse through Bongbongchan la and the trek comes to an end at the Srinagar Leh highway. On that day, we also went on a drive to Lamayuru. The place was perfect for beautiful sightseeing of YundrungMonastery which is enriched on pillar-shaped with unique and special geographical formations. The valley is entitled as ‘moonlike image’. Spend the 4th day at the guesthouse
