While the journey begins with your arrival in the most amazing destination of the country, Leh, the itinerary of 6 days takes you to some of the really incredible destinations in the region. The Le Sermo at an altitude of 5, 150 meters is the highest point in this journey. The Hunder or Nubra Valley was once known as the gateway to the very famous and ancient Silk Route.

The striking brilliance of Leh is one of the most amazing features of the journey followed by some other really incredible stops. Day 1 : Arrival in Leh (3, 500 meters / 11, 483 feet).

The artistic beauty of nature, vivid landscapes, extremely beautiful Indus River, all of these coupled with the rich culture and heritage of the ancient times, Leh is undoubtedly one of the most amazing places to be in. It is beautiful, the barren landscape is incomparable, and every journey around this region surprises you each time. The Leh Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport connects a good number of flights from Delhi and is very easy to travel to. As you reach Leh, before you begin the amazing journey, a tour to explore the region is highly advised. Places like the incredible beautiful Leh Palace and Shey Palace. The bewildering setting of the Shanti Stupa or a dive into the history in the Thiksey Monastery, Leh has a huge number of options to explore. Make the most out of the first day in Leh, stay the night here.

Day 2 : Leh (3, 500 meters / 11, 483 feet) to Phyang Camp 4, 800 meters / 15, 748 feet).

Located at an astounding elevation of 4,800 meters, the journey from Leh to the Phyang Camp is a highly enticing one. The trail starts directly out of Leh and runs mostly on the untravelled paths. Start the day at the earliest to reach the Phyang Camp.The trail runs on high alpine meadows that look really stunning and makes the walk even more enjoyable. The one and only pass you will be crossing in this journey are Le Sermo La. As you reach the top of the pass. Enjoy the bewildering picturesque panorama of the surrounding areas. Enjoy the views before heading down to the Phyang Camp. Stay the night at the camp.

Day 3: Phyang Camp 4, 800 meters / 15, 748 feet) La Sermo High Camp 5, 400 meters / 17, 716 feet)

The journey to the La Sermo High Camp will be an enthralling one and will stay with you for a very long time. It is an exciting journey traversing through the outstanding glimpses of the extremely beautiful nature.Start the day early after breakfast as you will be crossing the pass at a towering elevation of 5,400 meters. the beguiling views of the Stok Range and on the other side the Karakoram Range is a sight to cherish. The descent down from the top of the pass will be done on a snow covered path leading you to the High Camp, your stop for the night.

Day 4 : La Sermo High Camp 5, 400 meters / 17, 716 feet) to Drok Yokma (4, 200 meters / 13, 779 feet)

The destination today is Drok Yokma sitting at an altitude just above 4,200 meters. The journey today is on a fairly easy trail leading you to the destination. Along the way, you will get to amaze at the rich flora and fauna of the region. The high valley looks really mesmerizing and the sight of the wildflowers of the region is highly appealing as well. As you reach Drok Yokma after an enjoyable walk of about three hours, prepare to spend the night here.

Day 5 : Drok Yokma (4, 200 meters / 13, 779 feet) to Hunder Drok (4,000 meters / 13, 123 feet)

Another easy trekking day in the list, the current day’s walk leads you to the Hunder Drok. At an elevation of 4,000 meters, the Hunder Drok is a very beautiful place to be in. Prized with the very beautiful features of nature, as you will reach the place, you will get to amaze at the raw natural beauty of the surrounding.An enjoyable walk of around three hours traverses through the lush green pastures of the region. The glacial melts of the La Sermo make the pastures even more soft and beautiful. Enjoy the walk to finally reach Hunder Drok where you will be spending the night.

Day 6 : Hunder Drok (4,000 meters / 13, 123 feet) to Hunder (3, 500 meters / 11, 482 feet)

The final destination in the trek, Hunder is an astonishing location to conclude the trek in. At an elevation of 3,500 meters, Hunder is practically what you can call ‘ natures paradise’. The journey begins in a very thrilling trail traversing through dense forest valleys and steep slopes. An enthralling walk on this rough terrain is exactly what adventurists crave for.As you walk further on the trail, you will get to the very end of the valley where you will get a chance to gauge at the ancient forts and their magnificent structures. The enchanting views of the snow-capped Karakoram Range look impeccable. Below the Hunder you will also catch a glimpse of the old Silk Oasis. Enjoy the beautiful nature’s Vista before resuming on the walk to reach Hunder. This will be the final night of the amazing trek journey as the next day you will be traveling back to your first stop at Leh. Enjoy the night at its very best before concluding this exciting trekking expedition.

This is the last day of the expedition. You can check out by 12 pm and depart towards your hometown until we meet in our next expedition.
