Day 1: Arrival at Haridwar.

Haridwar is a location that is hugely popular among the huge mass of the Indian population owing to the highly believed religious destinations spread all over the city. Haridwar is a popular pilgrimage destination in the country and a lot of travelers from all over the country gather here to experience the blissful extravaganza.
Set along the banks of the river Ganges, Haridwar is famous for the evening ‘Aarti’ offered to the Ganges river and all the religious events that take place here. Spend the day exploring the rich culture and traditions of the region and try out the culinary desserts here. Stay the night in Haridwar.

Day 2: Haridwar to Joshimath (1, 875 meters / 6, 150 feet).

Joshimath is your first destination from Haridwar and you will have to take the journey on a drive to Joshimath. Located at around 250km away Joshimath is hugely popular as it is the base camp for a number of trekking journeys in the region. The road takes around 19 hours to cover and takes you through the popular destinations in the region. The much anticipated Rishikesh will fall along your way and the road also runs along the gushing Ganga. Joshimath is also known as the winter house of Lord Shiva and also a popular tourist destination. Enjoy the night in Joshimath.

Day 3:Joshimath (1, 875 meters / 6, 150 feet) to Gangharia (2, 687meters / 9, 800 feet) via Govind Ghat (1, 920 meters / 6, 300 feet).

Today you will be starting with your first walking journey and the journey towards Gangharia or Govind Dham will have covered by a drive on the first half. The journey begins early after breakfast keeping the destination in mind you will have to first reach Govindghat by the drive. Govindghat is located at an elevation of 1828m and 22km distance from Joshimath.
Enjoy the drive as you reach Govindghat and from there set out for the walking journey to Govind Dham. Located at 3049m elevation and 14 km away, Govind Dham or Gangharia is the base camp for the trekking journeys to Hemkund Sahib and valley of flowers. Haridwar you have experienced on the very first day and you will again get the opportunity to be at Haridwar yet again. Today you will be trekking to Hemkund Sahib. Located at an elevation of 4329m, Hemkund Sahib is most revered of all Sikh Shrines.
The beauty of the place lies in the very amazing location and Hemkund Sahib is also the highest Gurudwara in the whole world. Enjoy an amazing walk and sink in the rich culture of traditions of the region. After enjoying some time in Hemkund Sahib, set out on the returning journey to Gangharia. Stay overnight in Gangharia.

Day 5: Gangharia to Valley of flowers (3, 505 meters / 11, 500 feet) and back to Gangharia

Today you will be traveling to the primary destination of the journey, the valley of flowers. Relatively a shorter journey today, Valley of flowers is all shaped up to present you with the most compelling views of the rich flora and some exquisite flowers of the region.
The trail runs through some amazing flower collections spread out to give you some exciting views that will be etched in your heart for a very long time. Explore the rich collection of flowers and indulge in a life-changing experience. After enjoying the beautiful valley, you will be returning back to Gangharia where you will be staying the night.

Day 6: Gangharia to Joshimath.

The bewildering views of the valley of flowers will be coming back with you as you start out today’s return journey to Joshimath. From Gangharia, the journey to Joshimath starts with a walk to Govindghat at first and then a drive from there to Joshimath.
The road back to Joshimath takes you through yet another religiously rich place called the Badrinath. Enjoy the final drive as you reach Joshimath and stay the night here.

Day 7: Joshimath to Haridwar.

The final ride back to Haridwar marks the successful completion of the pretty amazing trekking journey. The beautiful flowers in the valley of flowers or the thrilling walk to Hemkund Sahib, all will be etched in your mind as you enjoy the final ride back to Haridwar from Joshimath. The 10 hours drive through some popular tourist spots compensates for the remorse of ending the walk. Enjoy the drive and stay the final night in Haridwar.

Day 8: Departure.

The last day of the expedition, Vacate the guesthouse by 12 PM.
