    Essential Traveling Tips for Nepal

Trekking, hiking, paragliding, mountain climbing, and other adventurous activities differ from visiting shrines and praying in temples. Therefore, the things you carry and how you prepare yourself are different. Therefore, here are a few things you must pack when exploring adventure places in Nepal.
    • Trekking poles.
    • Hiking boots.
    • Backpack or any other sturdy trek bag.
    • Oral rehydration solution.
    • UV Protection in the form of sunscreens or shades and hats.
    • Water purification tablets.
    • First aid medicine, mainly including antiseptics, band-aids, gauge, cotton, etc.
    • Insect repellent.
    • Pain balms and pain killer.
    • Instant heating and cooling pads.
    • Ear covers.
A few other safety tips for your adventurous journey include –
    • It is best if you train yourself for the trekking terrains. Preparation involves physical exercise in this case. Many Nepalese treks are difficult, steep, and high-altitude. In order to navigate Nepalese mountain trails successfully, you must make adequate preparations. Preparation is especially important if this is your first hike.
    • If you are a first-timer, it is never recommended to travel alone, especially opting for activities like trekking, hiking, biking, paragliding, etc. Individual trekkers, however, may encounter several difficulties and problems. One should avoid putting one’s safety at risk. You may have to deal with a number of risks on your own when traveling alone in an unfamiliar place.
    • You are highly recommended not to drink alcohol when trekking at high altitudes. Mountain walking will cause you to sweat profusely. Aside from dehydrating the body, alcohol also causes the body to lose fluids. Drinking fluids like water, ORS, and juices are advised to keep your body hydrated.
    • Knowing your medical history is another important factor. Since Nepal is home to tall mountains, the altitudes for mountain climbing and trekking can be high. If you have existing breathing issues, it is advised to avoid climbing higher altitudes as you may lack oxygen. Instead, you can indulge in other activities in Nepal, like jeep safari, water rafting, bungee jumping, zip-lining, etc.
